Welcome to Llanbedrog Community Council website.

Llanbedrog is an ecclesiastical village, community and parish in the south-west of Llyn. It lies on the shore of Cardigan Bay about halfway between Pwllheli to the east and Abersoch to the south. The A499 runs through the village.

This area is represented in the National Assembly by Dafydd Elis-Thomas and the Member of Parliament is Liz Saville Thomas.

The headland of Mynydd Tir y Cwmwd (343 feet) shelters it to the south. From the summit there are fine views over Cardigan Bay and the Tudwal Islands and to the hills of Snowdonia in the north-east.

The parish church is quite ancient. It is dedicated to St Pedrog. It is a long one-chamber church, partially dating to the 13th century. A bell tower was added in the 19th century when it was extensively repaired and transformed with much of its ancient character. The font dates to the 15th century.

Llanbedrog beach is attractive and popular with visitors. To the north lies the low rock of Carreg y Defaid.
